14 DAY TRIAL // The first rumors that Liam Hemsworth was being unfaithful to fiancée Miley Cyrus started making the rounds after the Oscars 2013, when he was photographed with January Jones. As it turns out, the two still have a sort of fling going on.
Liam and January had never been linked in the press before the awards show and, for the record, never again after, which made many Miley fans assume the initial hookup rumor had been just that: an unfounded rumor.
Radar Online is now saying that he’s actually never cut off contact with January, actually coming on to more aggressively since his relationship to Miley has turned sour.
Word has it that Liam is “sick” of having to babysit Miley all the time and that, especially in light of her more recent public outings, he’s looking for a way out of the relationship.
He reportedly sent January a very explicit text message, letting her know that he wanted to meet and be intimate again.
“Liam and Miley haven’t officially split, but it’s over,” says an insider. “It’s just that neither wants to pull the trigger.”
In the meantime, January is “consoling” the actor, who believes Miley’s raunchy new image and behavior is just damaging to his career as it is to hers, not to mention their romance.
However, friends say, there’s only one way this could end: “They can avoid each other a bit longer, but it’s only a matter of time before they split for good.”
In a statement to Just Jared, Liam’s rep has denied all reports of cheating or unfaithful behavior, but that doesn’t seem to work in terms of making the rumors stop.
“We officially never comment on his personal life, however we are breaking with tradition to set the record straight. The story of Liam Hemsworth and January Jones is entirely fabricated. There is no truth whatsoever to this tabloid fiction,” the publicist says.
