Janet Jackson can do it all: she’s a singer, an actress, a model, a writer, and a savvy businesswoman. All these years of hard work in the industry have finally granted her admission into that exclusive club of billionaires, it has emerged.

E! Online reports that estimates of her fortune indicate that she’s passed the $1 billion (€779.4 million) threshold, with almost half of that money coming from tours.

Another big chunk comes from Janet’s acting career and a smaller one from album sales. She’s also raking in big money with various endorsement deals.

“But Jackson isn't the only billionaire in her family. Her hubby Wissam Al Mana already reached that elite tax bracket after making his fortune in investments in the Middle East,” E! notes.

Other celebrities who are also billionaire include the Queen of Television Oprah Winfrey, director Steven Spielberg, author J.K. Rowling and, more recently, Queen of Pop Madonna.

Janet is definitely in excellent company, no doubt about that.
