The actor and director is Seymour's fourth husband

Actress Jane Seymour and husband of two decades James Keach are calling it quits, reports say. The couple have announced that they are now in the process of getting a divorce.

According to a statement released to the Daily Mail, they have been separated for several months now.

In fact, he has moved out around Easter time last year, when the pair celebrated the holiday with their kids.

A spokesperson for the family details that, while negotiations for their divorce are underway, they are still working together on their joint business ventures and the charities that they support.

"Jane Seymour and James Keach confirm that they are separated and have been for several months.

"At this time they are negotiating the terms of their divorce.

"They will continue their relationship as devoted parents to their children, as business associates and partners, and in their joint dedication to preserving and furthering the charitable endeavors that they've worked on throughout their marriage," the statement reads.

65-year-old actor and director James Keach is husband number four for 62-year-old Seymour. The pair have two sons, conceived by in vitro fertilization.

"We got our happy ending, which was all that matters," she added, referring to the birth of their children.

The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star first wed director Michael Attenborough in 1971, and she went on to tie the knot with Victor Geoffrey Planer in 1977 and David Flynn in 1981.

She came out of the latter marriage almost penniless and fighting rumors of his drinking and multiple affairs.

"I was never bankrupt. I was afraid it could happen, but it didn't. I called my agent and said 'I need to work yesterday' and he called all the different companies and said 'Jane will do anything,'" she recalled in an interview last year.
