“I Look Up to You” pays tribute to Princess of Pop, word online says

Jamie Lynn Spears is working on a career in country music, with hopes to release a new album later this year. In the meantime, she's just paid her older sister, Britney Spears, one of the most beautiful tributes ever.

Jamie, who took a break from the industry to care for her child, performed “I Look Up to You” in Nashville a few nights ago.

She doesn't say that the song is about Britney but, with words like these, it can't possibly be about someone else, word online has it.

“You can imagine who I wrote it about. I hope y'all like it a lot,” she told the audience before launching into the moving ballad.

“Scared little girl, living in a big old world,/ You've outgrown your room, it happened way too soon./ They took away your innocence./ We forgot our strong defense,” she sang.

Above is the song. Britney must be awfully proud right now, we think.
