Jamie Lynn Spears Injured In Drunken Brawl

- Britney's little sister was elbowed hard in the mouth as she was trying to stop a drunken brawl between two friends at a party

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

Jamie Lynn Spears really managed to land herself a wonderful baby daddy. Only a few days back, her longterm pal and father of her unborn child Casey Aldridge reportedly pulled out a gun and threatened two TMZ paparazzi who were trailing himself and Jamie Lynn during an outing. Now, the National Enquirer reports something far more disturbing – namely
that Jamie Lynn accompanied Casey at a party, where the teenager drank heavily and failed to come to his girlfriend's rescue when she was elbowed hard in the mouth while trying to step in and prevent a fist fight between two other friends from escalating. Jamie Lynn apparently started crying, while her oh-so-sophisticated boyfriend's concern was to make her shut up and stop yelling.

"Jamie Lynn decided she could break it up, but got elbowed hard in the mouth by one of the boys," an eyewitness reports to the Enquirer. "She went crazy, screaming at everyone….crying, screaming, and covering her mouth. Casey was so drunk, he just kept trying to hush her up." Well, that sounds absolutely wonderful, especially if you imagine the whole picture: a pregnant teenager goes to a party with her boyfriend and baby daddy, who obviously has no other concern than to get drunk – and then, when his girlfriend (who, we hope, hasn't had anything to drink) tries to stop a fight from turning nasty and gets hurt, all he can do is try and hush her up. Presumably so that he can go on drinking and then passing out on the bathroom floor. This already sounds like a match made in heaven, especially for a young girl with a promising TV career.

The fact is, things could have turned off a lot worse for Jamie Lynn, who can consider herself lucky she was hit over her mouth and not over her belly, for example. The teenager put herself and her baby in a rather risky position – in the chaos created by a bunch of drunken teens fighting over nothing, this could all have resulted in a terrible tragedy. As for her boyfriend's attitude, it's pretty clear that he's just as immature as she is, if not more. As a result, little sister Jamie is quite close to giving big sister Brit a run for her money in terms of messy domestic affairs and relationships doomed to fail before they even began properly.
