OK! Magazine has spoken to friends and acquaintances of the Spears clan and has learned that motherhood has changed Jamie Lynn, helping her grow up and realize that a marriage on paper means close to nothing if her heart is not in the right place.

It’s not that she does not love Casey anymore, sources vouch, but just that she has come to the mature conclusion that a relationship needs a lot of work, and hers definitely fits in here.

“The wedding’s off. They are still in love, living together and very happy, but they have no plans to get married. Jamie Lynn has everything she wants and feels no need for a ring and piece of paper.” the unnamed spy says for the aforementioned mag. Yet, the source fails to mention whether there was any wedding to speak of (since earlier reports were never confirmed) or, if it did, how far did the couple go along with the preparations.

On a more professional note, reportedly, Jamie Lynn Spears has also decided never to return to Hollywood again. Although her performance in “Zoey” was well received by critics and the public alike, with most hailing her as the next rising star with the potential to become even better and bigger than her own sister, what Jamie Lynn wants to do now is focus on her family life. Hollywood is in the past for her, the same source adds, and the moment she realizes what she wants to do with her life, she will also pick up a regular day job to provide for her little daughter.
