Though chances are no one can forget Jamie Foxx’s amazing Ray Charles role in “Ray,” it’s great that we still get reminders like the one below of what a gifted musician he is, even though his main focus is on movies right now.

Check out the video of his performance at the Inaugural Ball embedded at the end of this blog post.

After Jennifer Hudson’s rousing live performance for the Obamas’ first dance, the Bidens got Jamie Foxx.

Vice President Joe Biden and wife Jill Biden took to the stage accompanied by the Oscar-winning actor, who slipped back into the Ray Charles character to cover “I Can’t Stop Loving You.”

“Now I know after this wonderful day today, you’ll probably whisper something in your wife’s ear like: I can’t stop loving you…” he said as he sat at the piano before the song.

Enjoy!
