James McAvoy is currently on a roll as far as his career goes, which is why it's not surprising that he keeps getting a lot of attention from the press and from fans. However, the X-Men actor was caught in a foul-mouthed rant against two teenage girls who kept pestering him for autographs and photos.

The Mirror claims that the actor was out on the town, enjoying a couple of drinks with friends in a bar when the two girls approached him and kept asking for photos and autographs. After initially denying them the photo opportunity, the actor went ballistic on them with some strong words.

The 35-year-old actor, who plays the younger version of Professor Xavier in the latest X-Men movie, was out in London, celebrating the birthday of one of his friends in the Earl Haig Hall social club at the time of the incident.

Sources say that he was just trying to enjoy a quiet drink with his mates when the girls approached him with a piece of paper and their telephones to a photo. Video footage taken by an onlooker shows the actor blowing a gasket and swearing and waving his middle finger violently, before being subdued by his friends.

The 18-year-olds were clearly taken aback by McAvoy's violent outburst, but they quickly shook it off and replied that he shouldn't be using language like that with them.

One eyewitness reveals why James lost his cool, “James was in the bar with a load of his pals for a friend’s birthday. There were loads of them and they were having a few drinks and enjoying themselves.”

“Just as he was leaving, this girl tried to take a picture of him on her phone and he just lost it and started ranting and raving, telling them to get out,” the eyewitness continues, suggesting that James was crossed the girls tried to sneak a photo of him.

The bartender seems to be siding with the actor about the whole blow-up, “On the night of the incident a few people had been pestering James for pictures and autographs. He’d politely told them he was having a night off as it was his friend’s birthday.”

“Most people were fine with that. He took exception to the two girls and made it clear he wasn’t interested in having his picture taken. He was leaving anyway so he was not chucked out. He is welcome back any time he wants,” he continues, showing that there are no hard feelings as far as they are concerned.

It looks as though the price of fame is beginning to weigh heavily on the actor, who just days ago smiled and waved for fans at the premiere of “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
