James Franco mocks Lindsay Lohan for saying they’d slept together, says she’s “delusional”

Some time ago, a list that Lindsay Lohan made on a drunken night with the girls (the tabloid version of the story) or as one of her AA steps in rehab (her version of it), containing the name of 36 celebrity men she allegedly slept with leaked online. James Franco’s name was on it but, he’s now saying, it should have never been there.

Franco stopped by Howard Stern a few hours ago to talk about his new project and, of course, the topic of the controversial lovers list came up. Neither Stern nor Franco is exactly known for mincing words, let alone for beating about the bush, so Lindsay came out the worst from it.

It’s all on her, though, Franco seems to be saying, because she blatantly lied about the nature of their relationship. They never slept together, they just kissed – and it wasn’t even that good a smooch, the actor laments.

The interview is available in full on YouTube, but *please note that discretion is recommended because of language that might offend.

“We maybe kissed, it was lame. I bet you if we brought her in here and you asked her to her face ‘Did you [sleep] with James?’ she'd say ‘Yes.’ I will swear on my mother’s life that I never [slept] with her. I can't believe she put me on that private list. She's so delusional!” Franco said.

He explains that the hookup, such as it was, occurred in one of Lindsay’s darker times, when they were both staying at Chateau Marmont. He recalls that he was shooting for the second “Spider-Man” movie at the time, so that was probably in 2002 or 2003, because the flick came out in 2004.

Lindsay had a thing for him and was near-stalking him at the Chateau, which is how they came to kiss. However, Franco insists, he was a “nice guy” and didn’t want to take this any further, not even when she broke into his room at night. Because, apparently, that’s something that Lindsay does.

“She even broke into my room one time. I was on the couch and I opened my eyes and there's Lindsay in my room at 3 a.m. I don't know what to say other than we were at this hotel during a very dark period of her history and I think she liked, it seemed pretty damn clear that she liked me,” Franco explains.

Lindsay has admitted to writing the lovers list but claimed that she didn’t leak it to the press. She even said that she was mortified when she found out that it had come out in the tabs, so, if she was telling the truth, we imagine she must be doubly so now that Franco is throwing her under the bus.
