14 DAY TRIAL // James Dimaggio is still on the run from police after allegedly killing a woman and her 8-year-old son and kidnapping her 16-year-old daughter.
Now, one of the teen's friends has come forward to say that Dimaggio had a crush on missing Hannah Anderson. He told the girl how he would see her as a potential girlfriend had they been of the same age.
The conversation took place in his car, as he was driving her from a gymnastics class. Hannah's classmate Marissa Chavez said that Dimaggio was concerned about being regarded in a “weird” way after his confession.
Anderson asked Chavez to come along on the following drives because she felt disturbed by the man's feelings for her.
As I told you before, police described the connection between Dimaggio and the girl's mother as a “close platonic relationship.”
