On the first taping of the Late Late Show

James Corden is making his debut at CBS with The Late Late Show and it seems that he started at the new job on the right foot, managing to back Mila Kunis into a corner and make her admit that she’s married to fiancé Ashton Kutcher.

Rumors that the two actors tied the knot in secret have been online since late last year, but only picked up when Ashton wished his followers on social media a Happy New Year and signed the message with “The Kutchers.”

Mila and Ashton are married

According to The Mirror, Corden managed to get the answer that Ellen DeGeneres also tried for in an interview in February. Back then, Mila wouldn’t say if there was any truth to the secret wedding rumors, insisting that they were a family, so Ashton had every reason to sign the message as “The Kutchers.”

Last year, the couple welcomed their first child together, Wyatt Isabelle, and the actress pointed out that she had her father’s last name. Hence the need for the plural.

On the taping for Corden’s new show, he kept telling her to show her wedding finger to the audience, the British publication reports. He also asked her if they were married or not, but she kept answering “Maybe.”

“Either you’re married or you’re not,” he told her, asking her once more to show her wedding finger. When she did and there was a wedding band on it, Corden concluded, “You see, she’s married,” while Mila blushed and laughed somewhat uncomfortably.

During the break, Corden made sure she hadn’t taken offense with him outing her like that, the report continued. She assured him it was “fine.”

A very private romance

If it’s true that this is what happened during the taping, this is the first time that Mila actually confirms she and Ashton tied the knot.

Since they started dating, after his marriage to Demi Moore fell apart, they worked really hard to keep details of their private life out of the media, with more or less success.

For many months, they refused to confirm they were a couple, they didn’t announce their engagement until they were left with no other choice but to (she was photographed with the ring hours before, and word of it was already spreading like wild fire online), and they didn’t announce the pregnancy until they felt comfortable doing it.

Since day 1, Mila and Ashton struggled to keep the media out of their personal life, but that doesn’t mean that they refuse to talk about it when they have to promote a new movie or project. They might not be the kind of celebrities who issue press statements whenever something great happens to them, but they’re not exactly shy in front of a camera either.

In other words, chances are this report is accurate. If it is, we’ll have video to prove it soon.
