007 is going casual. MGM and Sony Pictures have released the first official poster for the upcoming James Bond installment, “SPECTRE,” featuring none other than the super slick agent - and the change in outfit from previous posters is almost startling.

For once, James Bond isn’t wearing a fancy suit or a tuxedo, but a black turtleneck. The look is a hat tip to classic 007 films, like Roger Moore’s “Live and Let Die” (1973) and Pierce Brosnan’s “Die Another Day” (2002).

These Bonds too paired the black turtleneck with a gun held firmly in one hand, while letting their inquisitive stare do the rest. Daniel Craig, who returns for the fourth time in the role, has blue eyes, which makes this poster stand out even more.

“SPECTRE” has to live up to nearly impossible to attain expectations: the previous installment, “Skyfall,” was the highest-grossing James Bond film in the history of the franchise and also earned raving reviews.

Thanks to last year’s Sony Hack, fans know that Sony and MGM are hell-bent on making “SPECTRE” an even bigger hit, even if that means burning the house down and running into serious debt. Rumor has it that the film is already working on an overinflated budget, even though it only went into production a short while ago.

Perhaps even worse, leaks have also hinted at a very disappointing third act, which would kill all chances of “SPECTRE” ever becoming a worthy follow-up for “Skyfall.” Budget is said to reach $350 million (€330 million) by the time it goes out of post-production, which, if true, will make it one of the most expensive movies ever made.

In other words, this can’t be a flop because, if it is, it will be a very expensive disaster. Out in theaters in November 2015.
