Fans of the “James Bond” series can now have something else to look forward to, as John Logan, the man responsible for writing the script on the next movie, reveals some of the details from the upcoming “James Bond 24.”

It's been a tough process finding out juicy tidbits, since returning director Sam Mendes has sworn all those involved to secrecy, but Empire had a sit-down with Logan, who also wrote the script for the hugely successful Skyfall, and some details have come to light.

Seeing as how the last James Bond movie was incredibly successful, in fact, the most successful of the entire series which goes back all the way to the `60s, it's easy to understand how people could get excited about the new movie.

Confirming that the first draft of the script is almost complete, Logan also hints that viewers could see the nefarious organization SPECTRE featured in this film, one that has been present in the books. “There might be!,” the writer acknowledges when questioned about the appearance of SPECTRE in the book.

“Honestly, not being evasive, but the great thing about Bond is that I have fifty years of movies - 23 movies and all the Ian Fleming novels and short stories, all of which are fodder,” the writer claims, adding, “And when I'm working on the new Bond I'm constantly going back to Fleming and the other movies - what are the bits and pieces, what are the resonances?”

Another thing that gets mentioned in the interview is the fact that Logan is working closely with Sam Mendes, the director, as well as with Daniel Craig, the main actor in writing the script, which, he says, is beneficial for the outcome.

As far as other rumors go, such as the villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld being featured in this one or an additional 00 agent, the script writer seems to keep mum as he reiterates the director's specific instructions not to give away essential details from the plot.

When asked if he was going to sign on for a sequel since Daniel Craig recently signed on to two more Bond movies, Logan said, “I’m just trying to get one done first! If I survive this one, we’ll see about the next one!”

Filming on the new James bond film is set to start in October this year, with Daniel Craig making a return as the British super spy, Ralph Fiennes in the role of M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as Q. The projected release date is set to November 6, 2015.
