The Chinese manufactured 007 handset

While most phones made in China tend to be cheap clones of already famous handsets, sometimes you've got to hand it to Chinese manufacturers for doing an awesome job with some of their products. In this case, they've managed to introduce a phone that's quite unique as design and also manages to sport the low Chinese-like price tag we're used to when talking about such handsets.

The mobile phone is surprisingly dubbed '007' with no info on whether it has anything to do with James Bond or not. It comes with a metal casing which is said to reduce radiation and packs a 2.6 inch touchscreen, 2 megapixel camera (although the site that's selling it claims it's a 1 megapixel camera, but the back of the phone says otherwise), handwriting and keypad input as well as a card slot for memory expansion supporting TransFlash cards.

Along with the phone, its future owner will also get a 256MB memory card in the box. Another impressive feature is the handset's battery life, lasting for up to 30 days on standby mode. One minor inconvenience for the user would be its very large antenna that's rather uncommon for a mobile phone.

Other than that, its design is quite stylish and it sports an embossed scorpion surrounded by stars on the backside. The only problem with the handset is that - as the vendor describes - "all China Phones do not come with warranty and once shipped can not be returned back to us or refunded". Well, considering its extremely low price tag, of only $181 this shouldn't be much of a problem. You can find the handset up for sale here.
