Ever since we are born, we love to investigate things: from our toes, when we're little, to the meaning of life when we're older and ready to win the Nobel Prize. We always search for something, we dig for mysteries, we love these challenges!

Knowing that, Aksys Games has decided to give us a few mysteries to solve in
the virtual world as well, and it has just shipped to retailers its digital novel Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles, a Nintendo DS exclusive. Criminal investigations, high tension scenarios and witty characters are just some of the things you should expect from the title.

"Just like a detective novel, Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles has all the mystery, murder, and betrayal you could ever want in a detective game", said Bo deWindt, Project Lead, Aksys Games. "Whether you're playing from the comfort of your own home or riding on the bus, Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles is the ultimate interactive story-on-the-go."

Actually, there are three stories (or episodes) available in the game - each representing a case our brave detective Jake has to solve. The first, called The Petty Murder of a Fragile Heart tasks us with solving the case of a murder that took place in the usually peaceful Central Park in Aspicio City. The second episode, Seaside City Conspiracy, comes with a missing person case which will turn out to be more than it was believed at first. Finally, the last episode, Crash and Burn, will be a story about love, betrayal and death (all at the same time!).

In order to solve all these mysteries, you will have to interview witnesses, uncover clues, and follow leads - but I am sure you already know that. And if you find it interesting, you can go and purchase Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles right now.
