Actress shows up on the red carpet in very daring Azzaro Couture gown

Gwyneth Paltrow started a very dangerous trend with her bold choice of dress for the “Iron Man 3” premiere in April, if we’re to judge by what Jaimie Alexander wore at the premiere of “Thor: The Dark World,” which took place at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood some hours ago.

The 29-year-old actress, who is now rumored to be a contender for the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming “Batman vs. Superman” movie, the sequel to Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel,” opted for a very daring and extremely revealing Azzaro Couture black dress for her big night on the red carpet.

As the saying goes, if you got it then flaunt it, and flaunting it is definitely what Jaimie is doing. Though the dress is, at least in theory, the right choice for a red carpet because of its floor-length, long sleeves, and gorgeous silhouette, the fact that it comes with sheer panels going the length of the body makes it a somewhat questionable option.

Gwyneth pulled a similar stunt at the premiere of “Iron Man 3” with her infamous Antonio Berardi gown but, as you might recall, at least she had sheer panels on the side of the body, not right in front and in the back.

If the two photos included in this article aren’t enough to show you just how revealing the dress was, the Daily Mail has more pics from various angles.

To put it simply, if Jaimie as much as moved an inch or someone photographed her from a different angle, that dress left very little to the imagination – if anything at all.

Granted, she has an incredibly gorgeous and fit figure, but another saying goes something along the lines of “it’s bad to have too much of a good thing.” Jaimie opted for teasing and sensual but also hoped for sophisticated, and overdosed on teasing until she pretty much revealed everything.

That is never a good thing on a red carpet, where fashion is king / queen.
