Jagged Alliance: Flashback, game that tries to bring a very old franchise back to life, is now on Kickstarter and the developers have promised a Linux version.

Jagged Alliance: Flashback is developed by Full Control, a studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Their goal is to provide a proper story that would explain the founding of A.I.M.

“Our main goal is to bring back the tactical turn-based action that the original Jagged Alliance games are known for - the game was a thinking man's game, a thinking man with lots of guns!

“The games were unique in their blend of tactical turn-based action, controlling and maintaining squads of mercenaries, off and on the battlefield,” reads the announcement on the Kickstarter website.

As for the Linux version, they promised that the game would be launched on multiple platforms, which would include the open source platform.
