Most of the nine Jackson children will be in Berlin on Friday, to celebrate their father's 76th birthday with a great party. Such a gathering would normally have been taken place at the Neverland ranch, but with all the allegations and lawsuits involving Michael, the famous estate seems dishonored.
Joe Jackson is already in Berlin, together with his wife, Katherine, 77; the couple is staying at the Estrel Hotel. LaToya, 49, and Janet, 39, are joining Michael, 46, who is excepted to arrive in Germany later today, as he is still recovering from the trial in a resort in Dubai.
Besides famous stars like Liz Taylor, the boxer Mike Tyson and the singer Diana Ross, for which 115 rooms have been booked in all, 1,000 selected fans will participate at the birthday concert.
Joe Jackson is thrilled that on this special occasion, his family joins him "in thanking the fans for all their support."
The Jackson clan will also hold a private dinner on Sunday and are set for a short boat trip along the River Spree, although they were advised by the police not to, as
it is almost indefensible from terrorist attack.
Berliners still remember Michael Jackson's last visit, as they could see with their own eyes how the self-styled King of Pop dangled his baby son over the balcony of the exclusive Adlon Hotel.
"When Michael was here before, he was shown a lot of hospitality," Joe Jackson said. "And so it's my birthday and I come back to celebrate my birthday because we have a lot of fans here in Germany", the 76-year-old artist who want to open a disco in Berlin added.
