Michael Jackson parted with his newly founded record company, his long-time spokesperson announced. In April, the singer and Prince Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa, the member of the royal family who sponsored his stay in Bahrain, co-founded Two Seas.
At the time, they said that their record label would handle the release of a brand new single from the 'Thriller' star, estimated by them to arrive this year, in November, which would be followed by an album in 2007.
Two Seas was also to be responsible for releasing a benefit track, 'From the Bottom of My Heart', a star-studded material that would aim at helping Hurricane Katrina victims. Despite that, more than half a year passed by since Michael announced his intentions, and to this day, the song has not seen the light of day.
Jackson's spokesperson refused to say what made the falling star decide to part ways with his record label but many speculate it happened because, just like in the US, the Gloved One had outworn his welcome in the Prince's country. Michael is now living in Ireland, in a castle in the neighborhood of Dublin where, rumor has it, he plans to open a leprechaun-themed park for children.
All in all, and contrary to what the publicist said, Michael's long-awaited comeback is not going to happen as they previously said. As a matter of fact, it seems that he is burning all the bridges behind him and prolonging his musical 'hibernation' even more.
