Michael Jackson is just as skilled in the art of confusion as Paris is. Remember that we were telling you a few days ago that Paris Hilton tried to outsmart the paparazzi gathered outside her hotel room by going out dressed in a certain way and then returning after three hours with her best friend's coat and Travis Barker in tow!

Michael Jackson, this time, tried to pull the mother of all stunts as he was visiting a friend in the South of France, by dressing like a woman and hoping not to be noticed. In the past couple of years, the once ultimate superstar, the self-titled King of Pop, has seen a fall from grace never witnessed before in showbiz. Yet, the media is still all over him and that probably still happens because he is as much desperate for attention as he claims to shun it.

And speaking of the ultimate superstar, Michael Jackson may be broke, washed out or whatever comes to people's mind, but his needs are still those of a celebrity. Being in the South of France, he could not limit himself to admire only the beautiful natural scenery and also wanted to do some shopping the only way he knows how: in style.


According to the 'Daily Mail', who sent a spy to see whether the rumor that Jacko was there was true, the singer took his best clothes out of the locker, put on his make up and off he went. Michael wore three inches stiletto shoes, tight-fitting jeans, a coat, a huge hat to protect him from the evil sun rays, a bright orange handbag and make-up.


He must have been so surprised when he saw that the people on the street actually knew who he was! After all, not all women have Michael's face and there's no doubt as to that nobody can mistake his nose for somebody else's.

This is not the first time that Jackson gets confused about his own gender: earlier this year, in Ireland, he was seen draped in women's scarves and, in January, he donned an abaya - a traditional garb for Muslim women.
