Jackie Chan has died during a very dangerous stunt on a movie set in Austria: this is exactly the kind of thing you should not believe if you read it online. And read it you will, because the popular action star is still pretty much “dead” on Twitter.

According to reports in the media, Jackie Chan dead rumors are still making the rounds online even though the actor himself took the time out to address them at the end of last month.

The fictitious cause of death is the same as then: he reportedly passed away in Austria, on the set of a new movie, where he attempted a very dangerous stunt that involved a 12-story building.

He fell to his death, the hoax would have you believe, as we also reported on that occasion.

“Hi everybody! Yesterday, I got on a 3am flight from India to Beijing. I didn’t get a chance to sleep and even had to clean my house when I got home. Today, everybody called to congratulate me on my rumored engagement. Afterward, everybody called me to see if I was alive,” Jackie said at the time about the rumor.

He also assured his fans that news of his death would come straight from the source. At least he sees the humor in the situation.

“If I died, I would probably tell the world! I took a photo with today’s date, just in case you don’t believe me! However, thank you all for your concern. Kiss kiss and love you all!” Chan added.

A similar celebrity hoax that was circulated on social media in recent weeks involved “That’s So Raven” star Kyle Massey.

The hoaxer didn’t “kill” him in such a dramatic fashion as Chan’s hoaxer did, but they did give him only a few more weeks to live: the rumor said he was dying of throat cancer.
