14 DAY TRIAL // Extra host Maria Menounos is a huge Boston Celtics fan. In fact, she’s such a huge fan that she actually managed to get herself kicked out of the Staples Center by Lakers fan Jack Nicholson.
The whole thing happened back in 2010, with Menounos telling the funny anecdote on Conan O’Brien a couple of night ago, as the video below will confirm.
She says Dane Cook was with her courtside, so I’m assuming he could confirm it’s true.
“We made it our business, our second job, to go to all these games and really rally for our team. And all of a sudden – we're courtside, I'm screaming, going crazy – I get booted! These guys come and pull us out! I'm like, ‘What is going on?’” Maria says.
Some time later, she came face to face with Nicholson, who was grinning from ear to ear, clearly satisfied with what he’d just done.
“He's like, ‘I see they moved your seat.’ He got me kicked out! I heard later he called [late Lakers owner] Jerry Buss and had me removed!” she says.
