Jabra is known for its specific style that evokes older times while providing current-generation, high-end audio support. Here is its latest creation.

Called Solemate Max, the rugged-ish newcomer has Digital Sound Processing, an Omni Directional microphone with noise filtering, AVRCP, Bluetooth, NFC (for easy tap-to-pair), two tweeters and two woofers.

It can work as a normal, portable speaker for mobile gadgets and PCs, but can behave like a speakerphone too, if necessary.

And since it's wireless, it relies on a battery. According to Jabra, one charge should last for 14 hours of continuous music streaming.

That should be enough to tidy you over a long train trip or drive, or a journey up a mountain if you like to stop often and relax with soothing tunes in the background, mixing with the wind.

Jabra didn't say when, exactly, sales would start, or for what price.
