In September last year, JWoww confirmed what blogs have been saying for many weeks: she had agreed to pose for Playboy. By October, the deal had already fallen through – but not hope is lost, the reality star says in a recent interview.

Jeni Farley, also known as JWoww of “Jersey Shore,” is believed to have agreed to do Playboy after she was presented with a $400,000 check for it.

Reports at the time even said that she had started losing weight to be at her best for the photoshoot, though she never confirmed them.

Then, out of the blue, she told the media she would not be in the famous men’s magazine anymore, but she would not comment on what went wrong with the deal.

Now promoting her first book, “The Rules According to JWoww,” the reality star says she only turned down the offer because she wanted young girls to look up to her, she wanted to be a role model for them.

When at Starbucks once, an 8-year-old girl approached her and told her she wanted to grow up to be just like her, JWoww recalls in an interview with E! Online.

“She goes, ‘I look up to you. I want to be a graphic designer just like you’,” JWoww says of the talk she had with her young fan.

“She goes, ‘I want to make cartoon characters like you do.’ So I was like, There’s my answer! I want kids to look up to me for college rather than Playboy,” the reality star adds.

Nevertheless, that’s not to say that she completely rules out the possibility of posing for the magazine. On the contrary, she will do it eventually.

“But I do feel like it’s a strong thing for women to do. And as long as they cover up certain parts, I’m good. […] And then it’s like, Why not? You see my [breasts] out half the time anyway,” JWoww says.
