Last month, residents of the small community of Pelican Island in Berkeley Township, N.J., went to court to ask a judge to bar camera crews from the neighborhood and literally shut down production on the final season of JWoww and Snooki’s reality series.

As of today, the two former hellraisers (and the production crew, it goes without saying) are free to continue shooting in the area, as a judge has ruled against the petition.

Check out the video report below for more details.

As noted at the time, the people in Pelican Island argued that the area was too quiet and still recovering from Sandy to have camera crews running around, causing havoc.

Snooki took to social media to lash out at them, saying they should just “get a life.”

“This is not how we should be treating one another. Absolutely sick and very sad. I pray for you. There's much bigger things to worry about in life than trying to ban my family from your neighborhood,” she angrily tweeted.
