A nano-ITX motherboard and an Atom central processor are used

For those who would like to buy a very small computer, one that is totally silent and capable of running on little power, the J&W M001 might be just the thing.

Capable of standing upright or sitting on the side, it uses a nano-ITX platform and an Intel Cedar Trail Atom CPU. We don't have the price or availability info, but the rest has been disclosed.

There is a choice between the N2800 and N2600 CPUs.

Whichever chip is chosen gets up to 4 GB RAM as backup. The memory isn't included right off the bat though. Rather, you'll have to fill that vacant DDR3 slot yourself.

Moving on, a SATA II (3 Gbps) drive bay exists too, as well as Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 (three ports), Wi-Fi, a multi-card reader, a serial (COM) port, VGA and HDMI.

Everything is packed in a ridged metal frame that fills the heatsink role and measures 135 x 128 x 45 mm (minus the antenna and stand). That's 5.31 x 5.03 x 1.77 inches.
