J-Lo Is Overdoing It!

A few days ago, we were telling you how the Latino diva, Jennifer Lopez, was spotted in town shopping and we were commenting on the way she looked: as if she had just escaped from the hairdresser's.

The usually glamorous Jenny from the block sported on that occasion a pink handkerchief tied around her head, that made her look just like your regular housewife who, while the perm is working, runs to the supermarket to do the groceries.

At that moment, we thought it was just a thing she would pull on one occasion and then be done with it. We imagined the fab J-Lo was having a bad hair-day and just thought of covering up because she did not have the time to have her stylist fix it. But then came the VMAs...

The diva showed up on the red carpet looking somehow not like her old self, making people seriously wonder what happened to the woman who so proudly wore that famous green dress. Not that she was that poorly dressed, because she wasn't. On the contrary, she was way too much overdressed!

The silvery-glittering outfit was more than OK, definitely making it obvious that she is not pregnant (take that, Jesse McCartney!) and in a greater shape than ever. Even the long boots were going extremely well with the whole ensemble.

It was the head thing the one that ruined it all for J-Lo, making her the first one on the worst-dressed list. We understand that it was supposed to go with the dress but what it managed to do was to stress the importance of never, never over accessorizing. From the shoulders up, Jennifer looked like grandma and we doubt that was the image she was going for.

Next time, maybe she should try to keep more simple and down-to-earth...
