Bradley Cooper might have revealed more than he intended to when he spoke to the press last week and said he’d be interested in playing Lance Armstrong in the upcoming biopic. Turns out, he’s really in talks for the role.
Even though Cooper immediately backtracked
on his comments saying that he was talking hypothetically because he had no idea one such film was actually in the works, director J.J. Abrams is blowing the lid wide open on the story.
As a matter of fact, yes, Cooper is
being considered for the role, he told Entertainment Tonight
at the SAG Awards 2013.
“[Cooper] sent me an email and we've been talking,” the famously secretive director revealed.
For the time being, though, these are all the details available. Abrams and Paramount is working on bringing the doping scandal involving the disgraced cyclist to the big screen as soon as possible.
