Christmas shoppers in the town of Alesund were pushed back by extreme winds

There is nothing like walking on the streets of Norway during a storm, and with winds blowing with almost 120 mph actually moving people backwards, Christmas shopping could be harder than expected.

Norway is facing massive winds as Storm Ivar just kicked in and made it quite difficult for people to get out of the house, literally pushing them back in.

Some courageous ones didn't quit their Christmas shopping plans and endured the wind while an eyewitness got the hilarious moments on tape. The video was uploaded on YouTube scoring more than one million views.

The strong storm actually makes people walk backwards or in zig-zags in an attempt to reach a more windless area. Police officers were dispatched in a particular area of the west coast town of Alesund to assist people face the issue.
