14 DAY TRIAL // The Trump empire has expanded. Ivanka Trump, The Donald’s gorgeous daughter is now a mommy. She and husband Jared Kushner have just welcomed their first child together, a daughter, as Ivanka herself says on Twitter.
Hours after giving birth, the businesswoman and television star took to her official Twitter page to break the news to her followers, Too Fab reports.
She doesn’t mention the baby girl’s name, though.
“This morning @jaredkushner and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world. We feel incredibly grateful & blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!” Ivanka says.
Ivanka and Jared were married in 2009 in a very fancy ceremony. As she said in a recent interview for Harper’s Bazaar, they took a year off to themselves before having children.
Nevertheless, they knew all along they would be starting a family soon. They just wanted to take a year to enjoy married life.
“We both said we wanted to wait one year and just enjoy being newlyweds. So we waited pretty much exactly that,” Ivanka said, as we also informed you at the time.
In the same interview, the glowing mom-to-be also revealed that they had learned they were having a baby girl but, just like now, she refused to say what they’d call her.
She did say, though, that she was somewhat afraid their daughter would become her father’s girl and the two of them would gang up on her.
“Jared is ecstatic. She’ll be a daddy’s girl. I have a feeling they are going to gang up on me,” Ivanka said at the time.
Despite being born into wealth, Ivanka and Jared’s daughter would not take things for granted, Ivanka said in the same interview.
It was their duty as parents to raise her “grounded and not spoiled,” she explained.
