14 DAY TRIAL // A mysterious elderly woman was filmed doing some tricks with a football on a street in the suburbs of Rome and after being posted online, the video has quickly gone viral.
As you can see in the clip below, the respectably dressed woman certainly has skills when it comes to Italy’s most popular sport, as she dribbles and kicks the soccer ball like a pro, showing that age and gender don’t matter in football if you have passion.
I assume the talented granny has joined an impromptu football game with some children on the street, as she is not appropriately equipped for soccer. However, her long skirt and cardigan don’t prevent her from showing everyone that she can keep up with the young boys and even outclass them.
She shows off some impressive keep-ups and even manages to bounce the ball off her heel at one point.
For now, all that is known about the athletic elderly woman is that she is probably from Rome, but she has already become an internet sensation.
Apparently, the Italian press set out to identify her. Many local papers have speculated the sporty grandmother was probably a player herself in her youth judging by her impressive football abilities.
