In October, a Collector's Edition of Splinter Cell: Conviction made an appearance on an Australian retailer's website. The pack, meant for the PC and Xbox 306, included a bonus DVD, a comic, a Sam Fisher figurine, and a code to download the original Xbox game Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory over Xbox Live. Not to be outdone, the Americans will also get a special Sam Fisher treat, but a different one altogether. It's still a special release for the title, but the goodies inside are on a different level.

This Xbox 360 Collector's Edition of the title will feature a wide array of game-themed items, like an art book, an embossed Steelbook DVD case and "collectible" decals, but also some in-game surprises. The long-awaited and what seems like endlessly delayed game is still expected to reach the American soil on February 23, and, hopefully, everything will go smoothly this time.
