I don't know who ONDA is, but I am surely going to check on it, after seeing this. The company's latest addition was recently dubbed "Honey" VX78 portable media player, known as the better follow up of the VX858 version of players, and which has recently hit the market.

At a first glimpse, the player looks stylish under its round cornered design, complemented with a cool glossy casing. Some even say it looks like a genuine "iPod Touch Nano", with a hilariously small price tag.

On the outside, the model reveals a nice 2.4-inch touchscreen display with 260.000 colors. Regarding the player's capabilities, it can deal with most of the file formats available on the market, such as AVI, MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC and APE (for audio), and JPG and BMP (for photos), together with TXT documents for text support. So, no video capability this time.

In addition, the users can perform karaoke sessions in their own living rooms, as the device was enhanced with LRC system for portable karaoke. The Honey VX878 portable media player has also a built-in speaker, for sharing favorite content with the loved ones.

If not, you can use the earphone jack. There is no word on the size of the storage capacity, but in case it might seem insufficient for enraged music addicts, everyone could use the integrated microSD and TransFlash card slots, to boost it up to 4GB.

As additional options, the manufacturers included an FM tuner, a voice recorder and some pretty interesting gaming options to use while commuting. Besides that, the device sports an improved and easy-too-use interface.

After all, you're probably wondering how much this player could cost? Well, the price tag is little less than 55 bucks. It is rumored it will be out on the Chinese market in early October. So, who's ONDA?
