For those who are still waiting for Vista arrive or are anxious to see the OS' official face and have relatives in Israel, we have good news.

Bink.nu citing the Israeli site Globes.co.il has announced that the
first official presentation of Microsoft's new operating system will take place at Tech-Ed Israel 2006, in Eilat.

The person who will make the presentation and talk about Vista is Steven Sinofsky, recently appointed head of Windows development team.

Sinofsky, in charge of Office 2007 as well, will also present at Tech-Ed Israel the Office 2007 version.

Microsoft's realignment was announced on March 24, shortly after Vista was pushed back to 2007.

At the end of February, the company announced the official versions of the new OS which confirmed the users' guesses. The six versions are Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Starter.

Tech-Ed Israel will take place between May 9 and May 11.
