New pictures show iWatch component drawings and specs

With less than 30 hours before Apple's big event of the Fall, a new user posted some interesting pictures on Reddit. The shots seem to be taken off a computer screen and they reveal some drawings and specs of Apple's future device.

There's no way to verify if these drawings are real. So far, there have not been any leaks, pictures or ideas about the iWatch. Every good designer has made his own mock-up or concept of the iWatch, but no one knows what the real one looks like.

The specs

The iWatch will supposedly have a microphone, a speaker and Siri. It will also feature a multi-touch screen and "will add a new dimension to the UI," said the leaker. Does that mean it will have a 3D effect like the finder does? Will the icons go behind each other to reveal the running app? No one knows yet.    The same leaker says the next-generation Apple smartwatch will not get a lightning port so the charging will probably be done wirelessly. In fact, the device will not get any ports at all.    Having no openings will make it waterproof up to about 20 meters. He also states that there will be 8 models – four colors that will come in two different sizes.

When is the iWatch going to come out?

The Cupertino, California-based tech giant may only announce it at their big event on Tuesday, but the iWatch will come out sometimes next year. The leaker says there's currently no timeline for the release, but he knows the device will go into mass production in January of 2015.    Also, he states this is the most complex and expensive product to manufacture right now.    Why would Apple announce the iWatch now, at least six months before taking it out in stores? Well, this is not the first time they do it. Apple has announced the first-generation iPhone and the newly redesigned Mac Pro a while before for various reasons. This time, Apple may brag about how the iPhone 6 is good because it works with the iWatch and the other way around.    This may prove to be a strong point for Apple when it comes to selling a new phone that has a different design, but no new extraordinary features.    There's one more thing worth talking about regarding this leak. The guy that posted the photos says the chassis has a round whole for the sensor plate that will be in contact with the skin.    What do you expect from Apple's iWatch? Let us know in the comments.
