We've all been hearing rumors lately about how the "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens did the stupidest thing in her life when she took a nude photo of herself. No, I take that back. Lots of people take nude photos of themselves, that in itself is not stupid - but being a rising television star and allowing for the photo to leak onto the Internet, THAT is stupid.
Several versions of the infamous photo have been circulating on the Internet, but until very recently it was all speculation (or so Hudgens' people were trying to make us think). But since dear Vanessa didn't deny the existence of the photo, some of the guys out there were still hoping that it was all for real. And now, confirmation has come that the photo - a photo, in fact - does exist. Which goes to show once again what it pays to hold on to your hopes and keep those prayers going. In a statement to TMZ, Hudgens' representative states that "This was a photo which was taken privately. It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public".
Goody, this pretty much confirms that at least one of the photos in question is real. And I must say, if Vanessa took it to impress boyfriend and co-star Zac Efron, it sure worked - I'm sure that at the moment he's simply thrilled to share a
private view of his girlfriend's body with the rest of the guys on the planet. It probably makes him feel very special. Plus, it points out yet again that Vanessa herself is not the smartest person on the planet.
Well, this is one version of the photos available on-line and the big question is: is this Vanessa for real or is it not? It sure looks like her - from the frame, stature and curves to the slightly arrogant pout and the look of "here I am, the beauty queen of all ages". If it's not her, it's a very good lookalike and my heartfelt appreciation goes to this girl for looking like a star. But I have a shrewd suspicion that in the end, it will turn out it really was Vanessa doing the temptation routine to entice Efron - or maybe just give him a taste of what's in store if he acts nicely and is a good boy. Too bad the "preview" turned into a public show of its own.
