The development team at Ironclad Games has released a new video for the upcoming Sins of a Dark Age, which shows off the Imperial Knight class.

The video is heavy on sword-based action but offers limited information on how the game will actually work or on when it might be launched.

Sins of a Dark Age is a free-to-play game that will use the real-time strategy template and will allow players to form up into teams that include both a Commander and Heroes.

The Commander does not have an avatar, but he is able to gather resources and create structures while Heroes do the actual fighting on the battlefield and slay other Heroes.

Ironclad plans to offer a beta stage of Sins of a Dark Age before the actual launch.

Ironclad Games is best known for the creation of Sins of a Solar Empire, the real-time space-based strategy experience, which recently got the Rebellion standalone expansion.
