Developer creates experiences that promote US position

A number of television networks in Iran have implied that a video game developer in the United States, Kuma Games, is actually a propaganda arm of the United States government, given the job of actually making titles based on US history that prop up the version of the state.

Amir Mirza Hekmati, who is saying that he was spying for the United States in Iran before being discovered by the secret services of the country, has stated that Kuma Games is distorting global events with their games, which are usually based on current events.

The problem with the claim from the alleged American spy is that the influence of Kuma Games on the video game public is rather low.

If the United States would be interesting in influencing global opinion via video games then it would be sensible enough to hire someone like Blizzard, Valve or Infinity Ward, who have a good track of developing solid games that manage to actually engage players.
