The fast food chain debuted the ultimate “promposal” gift

The popular fast food chain KFC debuted the new and unusual chicken drumstick corsage just in time for the prom season.

While the company advertises its fried chicken corsage as the ultimate “promposal” gift for girls who like their poultry products, I wouldn't advise boys to ask a girl to prom with such an unconventional gift unless they are 100% sure that their potential date is a KFC lover.

Daily Mail tells us that the edible fashion accessory includes a fried chicken drumstick on a bed of baby's breath flowers, put together by a Louisville, Ky. florist. The corsage set costs $20 (€14.5) and also comes with a $5 (€3.62) KFC gift card that can be used for a drumstick of one's choice.

According to KFC's official website, only 100 limited-edition chicken corsages are available, and almost 50 of the weird bouquets have already been sold.

The advert for the unusual product guarantees a unique and tasty prom night. The video shows a very nervous student showing up at his date's house and presenting her with the drumstick corsage. “I know how much you like original recipe,” he says.

The girl is obviously left speechless, but she later realizes that it smells wonderful. Then, the two teenagers can be seen dancing at their school ball, and the girl seems to be more interested in her corsage than in giving her date a kiss.
