Since the FBI has taken over the investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings and has inquired about private videos and clips, they have been flooded with evidence.

According to the Washington Post, they have received over 2,000 tips, in the form of videos and photos captured by bystanders.

As of yet, they have not detained any suspects and the investigation is still in its early stages, FBI Special Agent in Charge Richard DesLauriers clarifies in a statement.

“The range of suspects and motives remains wide open,” DesLauriers tells reporters.

“It’s our intention to go through every frame of every video,” adds Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.

So far, the three casualties of the explosions have been identified. The parents of a grad student from China attending Boston University mention that speaking about their daughter's death is “like a dagger in [their] hearts.”
