In a challenging job market you have to create a very convincing résumé in order to impress potential employers.

A 20-year-old inventive job-seeker wanted to stand out from the crowd and catch employer’s attention, so she created an unconventional CV to send to her dream advertising agencies – she made a Lego figure of herself.

Leah Bowman's custom Lego kit comes complete with instructions for building the brick figure of herself as a means to highlight her key skills, qualifications and experience.

The young woman, who is seeking a summer internship, told Mashable that she applied for dozens of jobs and went to a lot of interviews but didn't succeed in her job hunt, as there was always another candidate that did better than her.

So she decided to get creative and came with this brilliant idea of presenting her credentials in Lego form.

“I wanted a fun way to stand out to agencies and get my resume out of the trash can – I’ve always loved LEGO and I created this set to highlight my creativity, skills and initiative! It’s something I hope to be able to send out along with a job application,” Leah said after she posted the Lego résumé on Reddit.

And the tactic seems to have worked, as Leah has since been inundated with offers to help her in her quest.
