Every so often, celebrities find themselves in some of the weirdest situations, and many of them also involve diehard fans who probably don’t even think that what they’re doing is wrong. A man was arrested at Taylor Swift’s Nashville home for trespassing.

According to reports online, the man, 24-year-old Jacob Kulke, just wanted to wish Taylor a Happy Birthday and perhaps also spend some time with her on her special day.

As we also noted the other day, as luck would have it (for the singer, that is), Taylor was out of the country, having traveled to the UK to spend more time with her new boyfriend, Harry Styles of One Direction, and his parents.

“A 24-year-old man was arrested for trespassing at Taylor Swift's Nashville home early Friday morning after he told police he took a bus from Wisconsin to be with the country star for her birthday,” TMZ reports.

“Jacob Kulke was arrested at 1:45 AM after allegedly hopping a fence at the property. Kulke was detained by security and when police arrived, he told them he was the boyfriend of the homeowner,” the same report notes.

As fans must already know, Miley Cyrus too was in a similar situation just recently, when a stalker broke into her home.

However, in this particular case, the trespasser had actually been in contact with someone inside the home via social media, TMZ says citing police sources.

“Kulke was booked into jail and held on $10,000 [€7.599] bond. Kulke has a criminal past – TMZ has learned he was convicted of battery, disorderly conduct and drug possession in Wisconsin back in 2010. He was placed on 13 months probation,” the celebrity publication further says.

Another female star to recently require police protection from a crazed fan was tattoo artist Kat Von D, who told the cops one man had been stalking her wherever she would go, including on Twitter. She was granted a restraining order.
