42-year-old Bill McBride, who now lives in Washington DC, US, is the proud owner of what seems to be the world's largest Darth Vader memorabilia collection.

Thus, this man's home is packed with about 60,000 Darth Vader figurines and artwork. What's more, Bill McBride owns several lightsaber replicas, Oddity Central informs.

Of the Darth Vader merchandise scattered all around Bill McBride's house, some items are original movie props, which makes them quite valuable. Others are original works of art and preproduction items.

Apparently, the 42-year-old first started collecting Darth Vader memorabilia about 2 decades ago. He has since spent about $280,000 (€217,351) adding to his collection.

“The hobby of Star Wars collecting is mind bogglingly vast, and it’s easy to get lost,” the man said in a recent statement. “I am more passionate today than when I started,” he added.

Some of the things in this 42-year-old's collection are so rare that some would do just about anything to get their hands on them. In fact, one guy offered Bill McBride his Porsche 911 in exchange for just 4 or 5 items.

However, being as attached to his collection as he is, the 42-year-old “Star Wars” fan turned him down immediately without even bothering to carefully consider the offer.
