Unity Dark 64, a distribution based on Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS (Precise Pangolin) that aims to show a more gritty and darker interface, has been launched. Unity Dark 64 features some new effects and takes a new approach with the Unity interface, integrating transitions and various other software.
Highlights of Unity Dark 64: • The compiz has been tweeked by the developer;
• The distribution now has Netflix capabilities;
• Steam has been integrated by default;
• The jailbreak tool evasion has been added as default;
• Mtp support for Android devices has been added;
• Libreoffice 4.0 has been added as the default office application;
• Handbrake has been added;
• Cinnamon 1.6 desktop environment is available as a choice.
