Japanese-Swedish mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson announced today the launch of a new device that it included in the company's successful GreenHeart portfolio, the Sony Ericsson Aspen. The new mobile phone comes to the market in a candybar form factor, runs under Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system, and should deliver an enhanced user experience due to its multi-tasking capabilities, coupled with a QWERTY keyboard complemented by touch capabilities.

According to the company, the new device offers users simple solutions when it comes to organizing work, while also providing fast access to common feature with Slide View. At the same time, the new Sony Ericsson Aspen enables users to view and edit office files easily and comfortably with a single touch, while also providing access to the Internet with a single click. The QWERTY keypad on this handset should deliver fast typing, not to mention that Aspen also comes with email support, along with access to Microsoft MyPhone service and more.

Unfortunately, Sony Ericsson hasn't unveiled any details on the price tag the handset might feature when launched on the market.
