14 DAY TRIAL // iOS developer Thoopid has released Snailboy for iOS, “a fun physics based, puzzle platform game, with rich graphics, killer sounds and over 45 levels of intoxicating game play.”
According to the game’s plot, Snailboy is a cheeky garden snail who has become obsessed with his quest for the perfect shell. And who can blame him? The poor mollusk does’t even have one.
The Sneaky Shadow Gang has stolen his housing and now he wants it back, “along with his prized collection of precious shells.”
“Help Snailboy rescue them back and head out on a courageous journey of epic proportions,” says Thoopid.
A typical puzzle platformer, Snailboy looks pretty darn awesome (going by the trailer), and also seems like a fun adventure to embark on.
For that, you’ll need only iOS 4.3 and any iDevice starting with iPhone 3GS. The game runs natively even on iPads, and sells for $1.99/€1.79.
