Creative designers at Studio Cheha have taken the traditional room lamp and transformed it into an amazing 3D design object. Nir Chehanoswki is the one who came up with the idea of creating this brilliant lamp design, called Bulbing, that can trick the viewer's eyes with a clever optical illusion.

Bulbing is actually a 2D LED lamp with 3D wire-frame images attached to it in such a way as to create the optical illusion of depth. The lamp is made of 5mm-thick acrylic glass, which allows it to be modeled into different patterns. With the use of LED lights, the lamp will lighten the shape creating a nice 3D illusion.

Five designs are available at the moment, including balloons, a skull, a snowy mountain, and a compact fluorescent light bulb that shines brightly even in sunlight, so you can chose whichever you consider fit for your mood.

Bulbing was specifically built not to overheat, and its lifespan can reach 50,000 hours of use.

According to Just Something magazine, the studio is currently raising funds for the initial manufacturing of Bulbing via a Kickstarter project.

“Bulbing is an optical illusion versatile LED lamp that tricks your eye and challenges your mind!” the Kickstarter page for the project states.
