Foxy Brown denies she showed up drunk at recent fashion show, causing a scene

Foxy Brown has a history of problems with the authorities, as her fans must already know. The other day, she had to be physically removed from a fashion event where she was supposed to perform, it has emerged.

Not only did Foxy show up very intoxicated, but she also did so just minutes before the event was over, when she was supposed to perform some two hours before.

TMZ claims to have it from very reliable sources with the organizers of the event in New York that the rapper showed up late and drunk – and even made a scene by locking herself in the restroom and refusing to come out.

“Sources at Red Bull Space in Soho – which hosted the after party for Indashio’s fashion show – tell TMZ, Foxy showed up at 1:20AM, ten minutes before the entire party was supposed to shut down,” the e-zine reports.

By the time Foxy got there, people were already leaving by the dozens, which only made sense since the party was nearly over.

The rapper somehow decided that the best course of action would be to lock herself in the bathroom and simply refuse to come out, regardless of how much staff pled with her.

“According to sources, security was called... and Foxy was physically removed from the building,” TMZ says.

The e-zine also tried to contact Brown’s rep for comment on the story but he was immediately unavailable.

Radar Online, though, had better luck with that, getting Foxy herself to make her side of the story known: and, as she puts it, the above is a complete fabrication.

“When I got to the club I was not intoxicated at all. That’s a lie. There was no intoxication, there was no drama, and I was never physically escorted out by security,” she says.

Moreover, she wasn’t contracted to perform at the event, but the DJ did put her record on and she did get up on stage, but it was a spur of the moment thing and not something planned.

“Indashio is a personal friend of mine. I love and support him,” Foxy says of why she was at the event.
