Indian mobile phone maker Intex is gearing up for the release of a new handset in the not too distant future, one that should arrive on shelves with both touch and type capabilities, and some more details on it are now available.

The company has been teasing the phone for a while, and it has now published a new image online, suggesting that the upcoming device might arrive on shelves with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display.

The forthcoming handset is expected to be launched with a physical QWERTY keyboard, which should provide users with an enhanced input experience, when paired with the aforementioned touchscreen.

The smartphone is said to hit shelves with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor inside, while running under the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

According to fonearena, the mobile phone might also arrive on the market with dual-SIM capabilities packed inside, the same as other handsets from Intex.

Moreover, it seems that this will be the first smartphone from the company to hit shelves with both touch and type capabilities. It is also expected to come with an affordable price tag attached to it, yet no official info on when it will be released has been provided as of now.
