ISC's DHCP, the most widely used open source DHCP implementation on the Internet, which is a carrier and enterprise grade solution for everyone's host configuration needs, is now at version 4.3.0.

According to the developers, the major "theme" for ISC DHCP 4.3.x was to update the support for DHCPv6 and to include several of the features that have been available for DHCPv4.

Highlights of ISC DHCP 4.3.0:

• Support has been added for the use of classes; • Support for on_commit, on_expiry and on_release statements has been implemented; • Better logging of address assignments is now available; • Support for the standard DDNS as described in the current RFCs has been implemented, as well as enhancing support for dynamically adding and removing subclasses via OMAPI; • A number of DHCPv6 limitations and features are still missing in this release.

A complete list of bug fixes and updates can be found in the official announcement. Download ISC DHCP 4.3.0 right now from Softpedia.
